AXA Health FAQs

We're bringing together the AXA PPP healthcare, Health-on-Line and Health Services brands under our new trading name AXA Health.

AXA Health is a trading name of AXA PPP healthcare Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 03148119.

Our ambition as a business is to help our members – your patients – be their best selves. This starts with health. Managing health isn’t easy, though, and we want to do more to help members.

We’ll offer them a joined-up, personalised service that gives them guidance and tools to help them set and maintain their own health goals.

We’re also focusing all our resources and energy into the AXA Health, uniting AXA PPP healthcare, Health-on-Line and Health Services brands.

Eighty years ago, we were founded by doctors who wanted to help ordinary people get the best medical care. Our work has been guided by clinicians ever since – and this won’t change.

No, your provider number will stay the same. There will be no change in the way you bill us, or the way you communicate with us. In all your dealings with us, please use the provider number we gave you when we recognised you to treat our members.

AXA Health is a trading name bringing together the brands AXA PPP healthcare, Health-on-Line and Health Services.

The legal entity you deal with isn't changing for the moment. This means there's no change to any contractual agreement you have with us.

If and when we change any of our legal entities we'll contact the providers affected to let them know of the change.

Because there's no change to the legal entity you deal with, there's no change to the way you bill us or the way you're paid.

You'll continue to receive referrals directly from Health Services.

For your emails to reach us and for ours get to you, please ensure any secure email service you use recognises our new domain name ‘axahealth.co.uk’.

Many of the emails we receive are secured via what’s known as Transport Layer Security (TLS). Please check with your IT department or email provider to establish if there is a current TLS configuration or routing, as you'll have to add the new domain ‘axahealth.co.uk' where necessary. We'll need you to update your systems to ensure we can continue to exchange emails.

If you have any concerns or queries please contact your dedicated Relationship Manager or Affiliates Services via AffiliateServices@axa-icas.com.

There's no change to the way that you currently bill us.

Most providers bill us electronically, via our e-billing provider Healthcode. Once logged in, Healthcode users will continue to follow their normal invoicing process. After we change our trading name to AXA Health the website will ensure it's clear how you bill us.

Please note that invoicing via Healthcode:

  • helps you submit the right information and codes, saving you time in queries and amends
  • ensures this sensitive data is transferred securely, to the right people. Healthcode encrypts all e-bills to online banking standards
  • enables  you to check your invoice has reached us
  • and means we can pay you more quickly. We estimate that processing a paper bill takes twice as long as processing your electronic invoice (and submitting via Healthcode’s Quick eBill process can take as little as a minute and a half).

Yes. Your payment will proceed as normal. As AXA Health is a brand change, and there's no change to the legal entity you deal with, we'll continue to pay you according to the provisions of your patient's plan.

There's no change to how your payments will appear on your remittances. We'll continue, for now, to pay you as the appropriate legal entity, depending on your patient's plan (as AXA PPP healthcare Limited, for example).

If and when we change any of our legal entities we'll contact the providers affected to let them know of the change.
