If a patient requires treatment in a hospital outside our network, or in a hospital not covered by their policy, we can consider using a hospital outside our network on medical grounds.
We ask the referring specialist to fill out the Network Exemption Form to give us all the information we need to assess the request.
We then liaise with relevant parties such as theatres and hospital management before making our decision.
